The story of Milton H Erickson

This documentary explores the personal life and incredible career work of Milton H Erickson, M.D., the person who has most influenced contemporary hypnosis. This unsung American genius was a pioneer in psychiatry using radical and unconventional hypnotic techniques to cure not only patients, but to control his own severe pain and paralysis.

Often referred to as "The Mozart of Communication", Erickson shocked the scientific community with new and effective theories for therapeutic intervention which even today defy scientific explanation.

Through the eyes of those closest to him, this film reveals multiple dimensions of an unsung American genius.

Come along and learn about the person who has had the greatest influence on the practice of modern day hypnosis...and find out how you can learn these skills to enhance your own therapeutic practice!

If you are interested in studying clinical hypnosis, then come along and meet Hypnosis Today's educators Marta Lohyn and Merrilly Watson, and find out all about our 2017 Diploma of Clinical Hypnosis in Psychotherapy.
